Our Heritage

Established in 1984,

H&H Sculptors Ltd started off as a family run business in London and is now one of the leading manufactures of bespoke fibreglass sculptures in the UK. Our talented team of sculptors specialise in creating bespoke pieces of art, highly realistic figures, textile conservation grade mannequins, life sized horses, scenery and sets, photo opportunities, specialised mounts and props for museums, exhibitions, theatres, tv adverts and heritage attractions both within the UK and globally.

What type of materials do you use?

In consultation with our clients we select the most appropriate materials for their project.We regularly use materials such as resins, fibreglass, Jesmonite, silicone, clay, wire, wood, plastics and metals. We are happy to use other materials if requested, however, this might alter the cost and timeframe.

Do you offer bespoke designs?

Yes, of course! We can work closely with you to help "sculpt your visions into reality". The more information about your designs that you can initially provide us with, the closer we'll be to bringing them to life for you.

How long will it take to complete?

The length of time it takes to complete a project depends on the size of a piece, it's complexity, the size of the order, and whether it is constructed from parts cast from our large stock of moulds - or new moulds needed to be made. Since everything we make is 'made to order' we usually suggest that you allow a minimum of 6 weeks.

Can you provide us with a quote?

Absolutely. H&H Sculptors Ltd can provide a rough quote and estimated timeframe for completion. However, the more details and information that you can provide us with about the project, including any deadlines, the more accurate our quote can be for you.

What other services do you provide?

If required we provide a number of additional services as well as the textile conservation grade mannequins and realistic figures that we are known for. Museum and display design - including graphic panels; props; scenic construction; arange of 5 breeds of horses; refurbishment of your existing costume mannequins; realistic figures; stage sets; displays and exhibitions. This includes repurposing and reposing your existing mannequins, whether or not we originally made them. Giving old manneqins a new lease of life is not only about sustainability, it can be good for your budget! We can arrange delivery in the UK and globally and if necessary attend on-site to carry out installation. You can be sure that wherever H&H Sculptors Ltd. can help, we will.

Why might your pricing be higher than others?

At first glance our pricing might sometimes seem higher than other companies, but this is usually because the comparison being made is not 'like for like'. The quality of our our products is first class because it includes over 40 years of experience suppling museums, heritage attractions, artists and designers. We have a reputation to defend so we aren't cutting corners or pricing low simply to get the job knowing that later we can pile on additional costs for things that you hadn't thought to include in your orginal brief.

Unlike our competitors, we don't import any materials or parts from abroad - so that we know exactly what's in them. We try to source all of our materials as locally as possible and we use traditional methods and hand tools, keeping us close to the product and in total control of the quality. We LOVE to support other small businesses like ours and truly respect and appreciate our workers. Yes, you could probably get it cheaper from companies importing from China, but you won't be sure about what it's made from or the welfare of the workers that made it.
