Situated opposite Christ Church cathedral, ‘Dublinia’ has been one of Dublin’s top visitor attractions for over twenty years – and H&H have been involved since the very beginning.
For the original displays showing life in medieval Dublin, H&H Sculptors created over twenty realistic figures. Subsequently H&H Design redesigned and extended the whole of this major heritage centre. This now includes an entire floor devoted to Viking Dublin and a large exhibition about the archaeological techniques and discoveries that the displays are based upon.

H&H Sculptors have supplied this prestigious national museum with textile conservation grade figures and mounts for both temporary and permanent displays since the 1990s.
Major temporary exhibitions featuring our figures have included ‘Sailor Chic’ (about the influence of naval uniform on fashion) and the David Starkey curated ‘Royal River: Power, Pageantry and the Thames’. The museum also uses our figures for the permanent display of some of its most treasured uniforms, including Nelson’s Trafalgar Jacket.

For nearly thirty years we have been creating highly realistic life-sized figures as well as textile conservation grade figures and torsos for the British Army’s main museum. In fact, they commissioned our very first range of male textile conservation figures.
Although the museum is currently closed and undergoing a complete refurbishment, we continue to provide them with made-to-measure textile conservation grade figures for their loan programme. So far this year our figures have been sent to exhibitions in France, Belgium, Scotland and America.

This major exhibition design and production company works on projects worldwide and our working relationship with their founder and creative head began over twenty-five years ago.
In the last three years we have supplied them with many realistic figures ranging from prehistoric hunters to a palaeontologist – as well as a medieval knight on his horse. Other items include life-sized swamp cypress trees and an Egyptian sarcophagus with embalming table.
